Meet with the Mayor Citizen Forum

These meetings will be held 2-4 times per month for 1-2 hours during daytime and/or evening hours (if and when possible) but future meeting dates and times will be TBD. 

This First Meeting will have no specific "Agenda" but is meant to start a process of prioritization for planning and discussion and open the lines of communication and information. This meeting will likely discuss various hot topics aimed at gathering information and ideas to assist the Mayor in including action items onto the agenda for the next (and future) TC meetings. 

The purpose of the meetings is to make the Mayor routinely and publicly available to the citizens at Town Hall, in an informal way in order to hear issues, complaints, concerns, posit and hopefully answer questions, set tentative goals, brainstorm ideas and solutions, prioritize issues, etc. 

In addition, the purpose of these meetings is to open the lines of communication on a routine basis in order to gather, receive, and transmit information back and forth between the Town residents and the Mayor by providing a recurring time and format for residents to voice their opinions on any matter past, present, or future. 

The Mayor hopes that these routine discussions about resident-focused needs, wants, concerns, etc. will assist the Mayor in understanding and prioritizing urgent/critical issues and bringing those to the attention of the full Commission at future monthly meetings, and to facilitate and increase ongoing engagement within the community.

Future meetings may be either be simply "general" and/or specifically targeted to certain designated topics and if so (in the future) will be posted as such.
