The weVENTURE Women's Business Center, located in the Florida Tech Bisk College of Business, is committed to being the leading voice and resource for women on the Space and Treasure Coasts. Since 2012, we have proudly organized the Women Who Rock Awards in Brevard County to shine a spotlight on local women who are accomplishing remarkable feats and leading through their actions. It is very important that we set aside time to acknowledge, express gratitude, and celebrate the female leaders in business and our community, with the aim of inspiring the next generation of young women to follow in their footsteps. Once again, we are collaborating with the SBDCs at Indian River State College and Eastern Florida State College to host two award luncheons - one in Brevard on March 19, and one on the Treasure Coast is May 9. March, designated as Women's History Month, provides us with the perfect occasion to honor the women from Brevard who are currently making history right here on the Space Coast. So, please save the dates and make plans to join us at one or both award events!

Now Jenna will need to face the music, make peace with her past to save herself and the small town she loves. This show is filled with an authentic country score of hit songs made famous by Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, and many more. In 2018, 25 years afer the release of their multi-Grammy nominated hit album “God Shuffled His Feet”, The Crash Test Dummies hit the road for the first time in 20 years with an Anniversary Tour that spanned North America. The overwhelming reception led to a 30th Anniversary Tour in 2022 for their debut release “The Ghosts That Haunt Me” that touched down in the US, UK, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Canada.
And the band is showing no signs of slowing down . . .
“Touring again was not something we’d planned on, but surprisingly – at least to me – there are lots of people who many years later, still want to come and hear us. The folks that are coming out to see these shows tell us their stories, some of them very funny, some very dark and all very personal. It’s very humbling, being in the confidence of so many people” says lead singer-songwriter Brad Roberts, “and it has inspired us to continue to tour and make music.”

Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village, Inc. has reached a milestone with the acquisition of Green Gables, the home and property. After protecting Green Gables from demolition, the next stage begins the rehabilitation of this landmark over time, transforming her to her former grandeur. The 128-year-old historic home remains Melbournes Bridge to the Past. The Wells family vision and generosity brought many firsts to the area for Melbourne. They gifted the area with Wells Park, the first auditorium, the first library, establishing the first high school, and many more community projects, all of which have been enjoyed by several generations. We invite you to come and visit Green Gables and learn more about the architecture, the family, and our plans for the future of Green Gables.

From Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line, May We All is a musical about the spirit and sense of community that is the core of country music. May We All features hit songs from both modern and classic country stars, paying tribute to the legends and trailblazers that have made the music what it is today. May We All takes you to Harmony, Tennessee, “the town that sings”, where music used to flow through every part of town like the water supply, but lately hope is drying up.
Two years ago, local sensation Jenna Coates left Harmony to pursue her dreams of stardom in Nashville, her family and friends saw nothing but success for her. But Jenna never finds her hit and returns home, only to discover that Harmony has also fallen on hard times. And introducing two original songs co-written by Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard. Come home to Harmony, we’ve been saving a song for you.
