International Coastal Cleanup

Each year, in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy, Keep Brevard Beautiful hosts the International Coastal Cleanup. Thousands of Brevard County volunteers come together to clean our coastal areas, removing tens of thousands of pounds of trash in one day and documenting the trash littering the coastline.
How to participate:
Arrive at Ocean Park (aka Curtis Byrd Park) in Melbourne Beach on Saturday, September 18 at 8:00am. The event runs until noon, so please donate what time you can.
- Look for the tent and table near the volleyball court to checkin with the KBB Volunteer Site Captain and receive instructions.
- Water, hand sanitizer, gloves and trash bags will be provided.
- Public restrooms are available at the beach park.
- Please bring your own hat and sunscreen.
- Be prepared to have fun and act as a CITIZEN SCIENTIST for the day, by collecting and tallying beach litter
