9/14/2026 UPDATE: two areas in the traffic study need to be recounted this week. The recounts are taking place at the following locations:
The Space Coast Transportation Planning Organization (SCTPO) will be conducting a traffic safety study this week in the Town of Melbourne Beach. The goal of the study is to collect data that will assist in implementing traffic safety measures in our most affected areas, particularly those that are routes to and from Gemini Elementary. The study will focus on the streets south of Ocean Avenue and north of Gemini Elementary.
