Fire Chief Q&A Sessions

A few months ago our Fire Chief proposed some changes to how the Fire Department operates to help us continue to provide a high level of service for our residents and the community. Two presentations were provided at public meetings to the Town Commission detailing why we think this change is needed now, and the potential benefits that could come from adjusting our staffing model. From feedback we have received, it appears that some residents still have questions or concerns. We understand this is a complex topic with many factors to consider, so to address concerns and clear up any misunderstandings, the Fire Department will be hosting multiple Q&A sessions with the Fire Chief over the next few months. These will be informal meetings and a great opportunity for residents to come out, learn about their Fire Department, and get answers to their questions. Dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, July 10th, from 6 pm - 7 pm at the Fire Department
  • Thursday, August 14th, from 6 pm - 7 pm at the Fire Department
  • Additional dates TBD
