The Town's Recreational Beach Fire Program is temporarily suspended in light of ongoing beach erosion and unfavorable coastal conditions. Once ocean conditions improve and the elevated surf subsides, we will reassess the condition of our beaches to determine whether sufficient beach area remains to safely accommodate recreational fires.

The City of Melbourne Water Department, which provides water service to the Town of Melbourne Beach, has switched its emergency notifications from CodeRED to AlertBrevard. Unfortunately, they were unable to transfer subscribers automatically to the new system.
