South Reach Beach Renourishment - March Update Published on March 17, 2026 Beach renourishment has commenced within Melbourne Beach. The US Army Corps of Engineers will periodically need to close beach accesses as they progress northward. When closures occur, signage will be placed at the affected crossovers. NOTICE: Pavement Failure on Anchor Key & Pelican Key Published on January 09, 2026 Last October, pavement failure was noted on Anchor Key and Pelican Key, which was then reported to Brevard County. The County replaced a section of sewer pipe at that time. Additional deterioration has been discovered on both roads and reported to Brevard County.
