The Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) project is scheduled to begin around December 10, 2009. The project will commence in Basin 9 (Oak Street and Sixth Avenue). Work in Basin 9 is expected to conclude by mid to late January. Work will then start in Basin 1 (South Palm and Harland Avenues, Flamingo Lane, and Riverside Drive). The contractor has 120 days for substantial completion and 150 days for final completion. Therefore, the project is expected to conclude by May 8, 2010.
