Attended “Leadership Breakfast” at · Participated in meeting with Brevard County Fire Rescue to discuss application of First Responder Program to municipalities utilizing law enforcement personnel for this service. · Met with property owner to discuss proposal for sale of property to the Town. · Attended Community Night to recognize Melbourne Beach Police Officers for their service to the community. · Met with representatives from Waste Management to discuss a modification to the current franchise agreement. ·
Public Works staff completed installation of
wheel stops along · Attended Planning and Zoning Board meeting. Preliminary discussion completed regarding Special Exception Uses permitted in the commercial zoning districts and the criteria for granting such special exceptions. An Ordinance will now be developed for consideration by the Planning and Zoning Board to incorporate revisions into the Land Development Code. · Attended meeting of the Historical Preservation and Awareness Board to discuss the various issues related to the restoration of the Ryckman House and associated fund raising efforts. · Initiated reviews with all Department Directors of Fiscal Year 2009 budget requests. |
