Activities:
  • Attended Metropolitan Planning Organization - Technical Advisory Committee meeting.

 

  • Attended Space Coast League of Cities monthly meeting.

 

  • Participated in walk-through of the Oak Street Pedway Corrective Action Plan Project with Contractor, Project Engineer, and Town staff to develop punch list.

 

  • Attended Planning and Zoning Board meeting. Actions taken include:

 

                * Continued discussion on an ordinance to amend breezeway                  

                   requirements for oceanfront properties in the zoning districts.

 

                * Recommended an ordinance for Town Commission consideration

                   allowing dogs in outside dining areas of restaurants.

 

                * Continued discussion regarding amendments to the walls and fences

                   ordinance.

 

                * Discussed formulation of a recommendation to the Town Commission

                   regarding side setback requirements for residential development on 60'

                   wide lots.

 

                * Discussed amendments to Building Code References in the Land

                   Development Code.

 

                * Discussed application of "green" building techniques in the Town of

                   Melbourne Beach.
