Activities:

  • Public Works staff completed mowing of Oak Street right-of-way.

 

  • Received notification from SeeCoast Manufacturing, Inc. of pending removal of scenic viewers from Ryckman and Ocean Parks due to lack of usage and revenue generation.

 

  • Conducted kick off meeting with representatives of Jones Edmunds and Associates for the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) project. This project will provide stormwater drainage requirements in the Oak Street/Sixth Avenue area (Basin 9), and the Harland Avenue / Poinsettia Road / Magnolia Avenue / Flamingo area (Basin 1).

 

Phase I of this project will consist of design, permitting and bidding services necessary for the construction of associated improvements.

 

  • Issued Notice of Non-Compliance to Contrator for Oak Street Pedway Correction Action Plan Project determining that the southern portion of the sidewalk completed along Oak Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues was not installed per project plans. The sidewalk was removed and reinstalled.
